John Ligon
John Ligon is a policy analyst in The Heritage Foundation's Center for Data Analysis.
Ligon concentrates his research on health care policy in the United States and the particular impact federal changes in policy will have on small business. He also researches intergenerational economic mobility and entrepreneurship.
Before joining Heritage in 2009, Ligon received master's degrees in economics and public administration, along with a certificate of advanced study in health management and policy, from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. He received his bachelor's degree in economics, with honors, in 2004 from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
A native of Las Vegas, he currently resides in Washington, D.C.
