Matt Streit is The Heritage Foundation's Director of Broadcast Services, responsible for promoting Heritage analysts and their research to radio and television journalists.

In this position, Streit (pronounced "straight") also coordinates broadcast media coverage of major Heritage events, including the 24 separate camera crews that covered a June 2008 address by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Before being named Director, Streit was Assistant Director of Media Services at Heritage. Prior to that, he was a Senior Media Associate – booking more than 300 interviews in his first six months on the job. He was instrumental in the inauguration of Heritage's Robert H. Bruce Radio Studio, which allows analysts to broadcast around the world and has been used by top-tier hosts such as Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Kirby Wilbur and Neal Boortz.

Before joining Heritage in February 2006, Streit worked for the House Committee on Resources as Deputy Communications Director for two years. He previously held other communications positions on the committee for three years.

A native of Wooster, Ohio, Streit earned a 2001 bachelor's degree in political science at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. During that time he also earned a bachelor's degree in theology. He lives in Washington's Capitol Hill neighborhood with his wife, Amber.
