Description
To conservatives, the rise of populism is not a threat so much as a challenge. Conservative principles, applied to the problems facing working Americans, can yield policy reforms to meet that challenge and offer long overdue help to America’s “forgotten” men and women. On Wednesday, February 15, join Senator Mike Lee as he explains the delicate balance between the opportunities and difficulties populism presents and how conservatives can navigate through these challenges.
Following Senator Lee’s remarks, our panel will discuss how to apply these principles from a theoretical and macro level. The discussion will be led by Dr. Yuval Levin who is a Hertog Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center as well as an editor at National Affairs and Dr. Salim Furth who is a research fellow in Macroeconomics at The Heritage Foundation.
