Energy

53. Reconsidered the EPA’s 2009 endangerment finding, which provides the legal foundation for an array of climate change rules.

54. Announced 31 deregulatory actions targeting various environmental regulations. 

55. Targeted power plant regulations that were forcing coal power plant closures and disincentivizing new natural gas plants.

56. Rescinded electric vehicle mandates and the social cost of carbon metric

57. Signed an executive order unleashing American energy.

Education

66. Issued an executive order to end the Department of Education, returned many Department of Education duties to the states

67. Reduced the workforce at the Department of Education.

68. Froze federal funding to Columbia and other schools that have failed to counter antisemitism.

69. Froze federal funding for Harvard for not complying with federal anti-discrimination law. 

70. Issued a recissions request to Congress to cut funding for NPR and PBS.

Social Issues
