President Trump has nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to succeed Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court. Barrett has served on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit since November 2017 and has authored over 100 opinions during her nearly three years on the bench. Before becoming a federal judge, she was a law professor at the University of Notre Dame Law School.
