The Heritage Foundation has been named one of the “Top Places to Work in PR”—again. This is the second consecutive year Heritage received the honor from PR News.
PR News, a group located in Rockville, Maryland, serves the public relations community through newsletters, live events, webinars, and other opportunities that build skills and inform marketing professionals. Its awards seek to highlight top performance within the communications realm.
“When you are working to advance a mission in which you truly believe, it is easy to come into work optimistic and motivated,” says Greg Scott, director of Heritage’s media department. “That is why The Heritage Foundation is one of the top places to work for communications and PR professionals. We are exposed every day to ideas that will shape the world for generations to come and we have the honor of communicating those ideas locally, nationally, and globally.”
Each day, Heritage’s communications team works with the organization’s policy experts in their designated fields, coordinating TV and radio placements reaching audiences worldwide. In 2018, Heritage experts appeared in 1,513 television interviews and 3,229 radio interviews and published 1,540 op-eds in major publications.
The Heritage Foundation appears on the list alongside W2O, Hotwire, Spectrum, and other top public relations firms. In November, Heritage will be honored at a PR News luncheon that celebrates “organizations that have created workplace environments that epitomize work-life balance, give back to the community and advocate for diversity and inclusion.”
