Description

On October 7, 2023, Hamas abducted over 250 people from southern Israel. Through a temporary ceasefire deal in November 2023, numerous heroic rescue operations by the Israel Defense Forces, and the current ceasefire deal that began in January, 76 hostages remain, including 7 Americans. President Trump has made their return a national priority.

February 18, 2025, marks 500 days in captivity in Hamas’ terror dungeons in the Gaza Strip. For 500 days, as their loved ones have endured unimaginable horrors, the families of these hostages have been on the front lines around the world, bringing attention to and sharing their stories.

Join The Heritage Foundation to hear from family members of those still held hostage as well as rescued hostage Ilana Gritzewsky as they highlight the urgency of this situation.
