Today at 2:00 p.m., Hans von Spakovsky, Senior Legal Fellow at the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies, will testify before the House Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet to address the role and impact on nationwide injunctions by district courts.
In his testimony on the legal and policy implications of the imposition of nationwide injunctions by federal district courts, von Spakovsky says: “When federal district courts issue nationwide injunctions, they are invading jurisdiction and authority of other federal courts and other appellate circuits.”
