WASHINGTON—The Heritage Foundation hosted a ‘Weaponization of U.S. Government’ Symposium Tuesday. The event featured senators, congressmen, FBI whistleblowers, government skeptics, investigators, and media experts who discussed the weaponization of government against everyday Americans.   

Mike Howell, director of the Oversight Project at The Heritage Foundation, issued the following statement at the conclusion of today’s event:  

“The Oversight Project is declaring a state of emergency against government weaponization. The Left has corrupted every institution of society and infected its poisonous ideology into almost every aspect of American life. We are sounding the alarm and fighting back. 

 

“Institutions like law enforcement, the education system, corporate media, finance, and medicine—previously thought to be largely free from politicization—have been polarized by leftist ideologies and its time that comes to an end.”
