Description

The Iran Wars documents the U.S. conflict with Iran since 9/11 and how it's reshaped the Middle East. The book follows the conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria and how it has pitted Tehran's elite military, the Revolutionary Guard, against the CIA and Pentagon. The narrative also follows the secret negotiations the Obama Administration pursued with Iran and how it lead to the landmark nuclear agreement of 2015 – a deal that might not survive under President Donald Trump.

Jay Solomon is a reporter for the Wall Street Journal who covers foreign affairs and national security issues from The Wall Street Journal's Washington D.C. bureau. His coverage areas include international diplomacy, nuclear weapons proliferation, counter-terrorism and Middle East and Asian affairs.
