The American Perceptions Initiative (API), is a project of The Heritage Foundation, which conducts market research on a number of different public policy areas. This research gauges the public’s level of support and agreement for specific issues and determines how to communicate conservative policies clearly and effectively.

Maru hosts the Springboard America platform, a high-quality panel of over 300,000 U.S. panelists. Studies are conducted online among a representative sample of the U.S. adult population, balanced on age, gender, and region
Sample size, make up, and comparable margin of error, varies across studies. For most studies based on the total sample of U.S. voters, the margin of sampling error for a similar probability sample is +/- 3 percentage points at the 95% confidence level.
