Civil Discourse or Civil Discord?
A conversation about how we are having conversations in America today
WASHINGTON - Please join Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James and nationally-syndicated radio and television host Hugh Hewitt for a special forum on how we can turn down the rhetorical temperature of our public debates and instead respect our opponents as we work together to find solutions for the problems facing America.
The event will begin with a discussion between Mrs. James and Mr. Hewitt followed by an audience-driven discussion during which we will welcome solutions-oriented feedback from all points on the ideas spectrum.
