WASHINGTON—Heritage Foundation President Kay Coles James released the following statement regarding President Donald Trump's nomination of Stephen Moore, Heritage distinguished visiting fellow, to the Federal Reserve Board:

 

“Congratulations to my colleague Steve Moore for his nomination to serve on the Federal Reserve Board. President Trump should be applauded for tapping Steve to serve in this important role. Steve will steer America’s monetary policy to make a strong economy even stronger.

 

“Steve’s contributions to The Heritage Foundation in his two stints here are too many to count, and the economic policy he played such a large part in shaping during this administration has led to a historic economic boom that has benefitted every American. We encourage the Senate to move swiftly to confirm Steve, who will serve the American people well and faithfully.”
