WASHINGTON — Heritage Foundation President Kay C. James made the following statement about William Barr’s service as attorney general: 

“Bill Barr has twice served our nation as attorney general and in various other capacities at the Department of Justice. He leaves office with a track record of enforcing the law faithfully on behalf of the American people and in accordance with the Constitution.

 

“We thank Bill for his lifetime of public service and commitment to the rule of law. As a conservative and defender of liberty, he helped advance the country’s priorities under President Trump. We are grateful to the president for nominating Bill and the opportunity to work alongside him.”
