WASHINGTON, Feb. 7, 2018 – The Heritage Foundation this week welcomed Greg Scott to its outstanding communications team, where he will serve as director of media relations. Greg comes to Heritage with more than 17 years of experience leading communications and media operations.
Greg most recently worked at the Department of Homeland Security, where he served as a public affairs officer. Prior to his time in the federal government, he spent 13 years at Alliance Defending Freedom, the world’s largest religious freedom legal advocate. As vice president of communications at ADF, Greg worked closely with The Heritage Foundation and other conservative coalition groups.
He started his communications career in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving for 10 years on active duty, most recently as a public affairs officers at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar.
Greg joins Heritage as the think tank continues to demonstrate its influence on public policy.
