WASHINGTON—The Heritage Foundation today announced the election of Shane McCullar to its Board of Trustees. McCullar is a stalwart conservative, expert financier and real estate broker, chief executive, and trusted friend of Heritage.
Following the election, Heritage Board of Trustees Chairman Barb Van Andel-Gaby welcomed McCullar to the board, saying:
"I am thrilled to welcome Shane McCullar to the Board of Trustees. The board is privileged to safeguard Heritage's guiding principles, and this charge requires talented leaders like Shane. His remarkable business achievements and lasting commitments to his community and country make him uniquely positioned to serve alongside our esteemed board members. It's an honor to welcome him to the team."
Kevin D. Roberts, PhD, president of The Heritage Foundation, welcomed McCullar, saying:
"Shane is an extraordinary addition to the Heritage Board of Trustees and brings a wealth of knowledge that will be invaluable to advancing our priorities as Heritage fights tirelessly to save America. McCullar is the newest member of the board, which is charged with governing The Heritage Foundation, one of the country's largest, most effective policy organizations. Heritage has more than 10 million members, advocates, and concerned Americans who support its mission.
Commenting on his new role, McCullar said:

McCullar has a longstanding record of success in his multi-decade finance, business, and real estate career. He served in executive-level leadership for McDonald's Corporation and Rubbermaid Corporation before entering the world of real estate as a broker for more than two decades with Keller Williams Realty International (KWRI), where he now serves as Operating Principal and CEO of KW Metro Center (KWMC). Through his leadership, KW MC is the 5th largest real estate company in the Nation's Capital and the 150th-largest firm in the United States.
He is a former member of the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Board (NVAR) of Directors, former BOD of the Virginia Association of Realtors (VR), and past Chairman of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee for Virginia. In recognition of his commitment to his profession and incredible achievements, he was inducted into the National Association of Realtors Hall of Fame in 2019.
