The trope of the nation’s “crumbling roads and bridges” was a constant fixture throughout the 2016 campaign. Now, the President-elect has promised a massive infrastructure investment plan, which has gained the potential support of many in Congress. Though campaign rhetoric and presidential promises all but ensure infrastructure will be a major issue in the upcoming year, many of the most important questions regarding America’s roads, rails, airports, and waterways have gone unaddressed: What are America’s real infrastructure needs? What will the President’s plan look like, and – more importantly – what should it aim to accomplish?
Join us for a timely and provocative discussion that will cut through the campaign rhetoric and address the fundamental questions regarding the nation’s vital infrastructure.
