The Daily Signal, Heritage’s multimedia news outlet, will participate this fall as a media sponsor of the educational and informational portions of the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C.

The inaugural Values Voter Summit was held in 2006 with the intent of educating Americans interested in advocating and promoting values such as life, traditional marriage, religious liberty, and limited government.

Last year’s speakers included Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. A complete directory of confirmed speakers is located on the summit’s website.

Breakout sessions and speaker topics have yet to be released for the 2019 conference, but topics from 2018 include the right to life, the preservation of Judeo-Christian values in America, and foreign diplomacy from a faith-based worldview.

In addition to the speakers and breakout sessions at VVS, the conference has a number of luncheons, a gala, and other meals to attend. These are separate from the general attendee registration. Keynote speakers will span topics such as "Advancing Religious Liberty in a LGBT World" and other topics on American values.

At this year’s summit, The Daily Signal will also participate as an exhibitor in addition to its sponsorship. The Daily Signal’s booth will be located in the Regency Gallery on media row, directly outside the Regency Ballroom.

The Values Voter Summit will be held October 11-13, 2019, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. Registration for general attendees and students can be found on the VVS website.

The annual conference is hosted by FRC Action, which is the legislative affiliate of Family Research Council. Other sponsors include American Values, Truth & Liberty Coalition, Columbia International University, and Timothy Plan. It is also sponsored by the Family Research Council, American Values for the educational aspect of the conference. Timothy Plan and Truth & Liberty Coalition are co-sponsors of the educational seminars at VVS.
