WASHINGTON— Dr. Kevin Roberts, president of The Heritage Foundation and Heritage Action for America, released the following statement in response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent remarks inciting violence against conservatives: 

“Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent comments about Project 2025 make one thing clear: she has no interest in doing what’s best for the country by disregarding the safety of her fellow Americans. Her dangerous and reckless rhetoric has fueled violence—leading to two assassination attempts against President Trump and continued threats of violence from the radical Left. Instead of condemning this political violence, she's doubling down, attacking Project 2025. 

 

“At this point, it's impossible to excuse her actions. We have to call it like it is–not only have her words contributed to two assassination attempts on the former president but she has instilled fear in the American people of future violence.  

 

“After months of lies about Project 2025 from Vice President Harris and her allies in the legacy media, it’s clear they’re desperate to distract from her administration’s catastrophic policy failures—deadly open borders, skyrocketing inflation, and a complete erosion of the American Dream. 

 

“If their strategy is to stoke fear rather than address the genuine concerns of Americans and protect each citizen’s safety, let them. We will not give up, and we will persevere.”
