Today, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar asked the Food and Drug Administration to form a working group related to prescription drug costs. Marie Fishpaw, director of domestic policy studies at The Heritage Foundation, made the following statement:

“Secretary Azar is right to focus on ways to lower health care costs and improve choices. Prescription drug costs are one of the many health care challenges facing Americans today along with Obamacare’s ongoing damage.

“There’s a lot of work that needs to be done. We look forward to working with the Secretary Azar on solutions that help Americans.”
